Job Description: Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Daily Bookkeeping and Financial Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.

• Tax and Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations, including GST (Goods and Services Tax), TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and other statutory requirements.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial statements, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets, to management on a regular basis.

• Coordination and Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for financial matters, liaising with vendors, suppliers, and Chartered Accountants (CAs) to resolve any discrepancies.

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the travel or service industry, is a plus.
