Trip Overview
A 4-day spiritual and scenic journey through Sonamarg and Srinagar with the holy visit to Amarnath Cave Temple by helicopter. The trip starts from Srinagar International Airport and includes a peaceful stay in Sonamarg, divine darshan, and a relaxing Srinagar city tour with a Shikara ride at Dal Lake.
Day 1 — 19 July (Sunday) | Delhi to Srinagar → Sonamarg
Flight arrival at Srinagar International Airport: 06:50 AM
Flight: IX 1349 (Delhi → Srinagar) | 05:15 AM – 06:50 AM (1h 35m)
After arrival, meet the driver and proceed towards Sonamarg. The drive takes around 3 to 3.5 hours through scenic valleys and rivers. Reach Sonamarg by late morning and check in to the hotel. Rest and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Day 2 — 20 July | Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter
After breakfast, transfer by traveller vehicle to the helipad for the holy Amarnath Cave Temple Yatra by helicopter.
After helicopter drop, proceed towards the holy cave. From the point where vehicle access is not available, continue by trekking or optional pony/doli services (subject to availability and direct payment). Attend darshan and return via the same route back to helipad, then transfer to hotel in Sonamarg.
Dinner and overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Day 3 — 21 July | Sonamarg to Srinagar + Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and proceed to Srinagar.
On arrival, enjoy sightseeing including Mughal gardens and local markets. Later enjoy a 1-hour Shikara ride at Dal Lake.
Check in to hotel in Srinagar by evening.
Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4 — 22 July (Wednesday) | Srinagar Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar International Airport.
Flight departure: 6E 5134 (Srinagar → Delhi) | 09:40 AM – 11:20 AM (1h 40m)
Return journey to Delhi with unforgettable memories of Kashmir and Amarnath Yatra.
