Day to Day  Itinerary:-

Day 1: New Delhi to Amritsar and Leisure Day

Start your day early from New Delhi to Amritsar. The distance between the two cities is approximately 450 kilometers, and the journey can take around 7-8 hours by road or around 6 hours by train.

Once you reach Amritsar, check into your accommodation and take some time to relax and freshen up.

Since it's a leisure day, you can explore the local markets and try some authentic Punjabi cuisine. Amritsar is famous for its street food, so don't miss the opportunity to indulge in local delicacies like Amritsari Kulcha, Chole Bhature, and Lassi.

You can also visit the popular markets like Hall Bazaar and Lawrence Road for shopping, where you'll find a variety of traditional clothing, handicrafts, and souvenirs.

Day 2: Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, Wagah Border, and Sightseeing

Start your day by visiting the Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib. It is the holiest Sikh gurudwara and a significant spiritual site. Take a walk around the temple complex, admire its stunning architecture, and experience the serene atmosphere. Don't forget to partake in the langar (community kitchen) and enjoy a meal with fellow devotees.

After the Golden Temple, head to Jallianwala Bagh, a historic site that commemorates the tragic massacre that took place in 1919. Explore the memorial garden, see the Martyrs' Well, and learn about the events that unfolded during the British colonial rule.

In the evening, make your way to the Wagah Border, which separates India and Pakistan. Witness the famous Wagah Border Ceremony, a military practice where the border guards from both countries engage in a synchronized lowering of their flags. It's a patriotic and lively event that shouldn't be missed.

If you have time, you can also explore other attractions in Amritsar like the Partition Museum, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Museum, and Ram Bagh Gardens

Day 3: Amritsar to New Delhi:-

On the final day, check out from your accommodation and prepare for your journey back to New Delhi.

Depending on your mode of transportation, plan your departure accordingly. If you're taking a train, check the schedule and arrive at the railway station in time for your departure. If you're traveling by road, consider leaving early to avoid any traffic congestion.

Once you reach New Delhi, you can continue with your onward plans or explore more of the city if you have additional time.
