Day Wise Itinerary-

Char Dham Yatra Itinerary – May 2026 (Detailed)

Day 1: Gwalior ➝ Haridwar (Stay in Haridwar)

Your journey begins early morning from Gwalior by Urbania. By evening, you will arrive in Haridwar, check into your hotel, and relax. If time permits, visit Har Ki Pauri to witness the divine Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar ➝ Barkot (Stay in Barkot)

After breakfast, drive towards Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. Enjoy scenic hill views during the journey. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot ➝ Yamunotri ➝ Barkot (Stay in Barkot)

Morning after breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti. From here, start the trek (5 km) to Yamunotri either by walk or by horse/doli at your own cost. On arrival, pilgrims can cook rice by dipping it in the hot water of the kund and take it home as prasad. Take a holy bath in Jamunabai Kund and offer prayers at Yamunotri Temple. Also visit Surya Kund and Divya Shila before returning to Barkot.

Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3,235 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas and is the source of the Yamuna River. The temple was originally built by the Maharani of Jaipur in the 19th century and has been rebuilt over time. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot ➝ Uttarkashi (Stay in Uttarkashi)

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi. En route, visit Prakateshwar Cave. On arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River and known for its massive iron trident. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi ➝ Gangotri ➝ Uttarkashi (Stay in Uttarkashi)

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Gangotri (3,048 meters). En route, enjoy the scenic beauty of Harsil Valley, the Bhagirathi River, and magnificent Himalayan views. On arrival, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges (Bhagirathi at its origin) and visit Gangotri Temple.

Gangotri is believed to be the place where Goddess Ganga descended to earth when Lord Shiva released the river from his locks. After darshan and pooja, return to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay.

Day 6: Uttarkashi ➝ Guptkashi (Stay in Guptkashi)

Early morning after breakfast, drive to Guptkashi/Sitapur. On arrival, check into your hotel or camp. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Guptkashi ➝ Kedarnath (By Helicopter) ➝ Guptkashi (Stay in Guptkashi)

Morning transfer to your pre-booked helipad for the Kedarnath visit. Fly to Kedarnath and visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. After darshan, return by helicopter. Your driver will transfer you back to the hotel for rest.

(Note: Helicopter tickets are not included in the package. In case of trekking, coordination is required due to parking and network issues at Sonprayag.)

Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 8: Guptkashi ➝ Badrinath (Stay in Badrinath)

After breakfast, check out and drive to Badrinath. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 9: Badrinath ➝ rudraprayag (Stay in rudraprayag)

Early morning, pilgrims take a holy dip in Tapt Kund before visiting Badrinath Temple for darshan. Brahma Kapal is significant for performing Pind Daan rituals for ancestors.

Later, explore nearby attractions such as Mana Village (the last Indian village before Tibet), Bhim Pul, and Vyas Gufa. After sightseeing, drive to Srinagar/Rudraprayag and check into your hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 10: rudraprayag ➝ rishikesh (Stay in rishikesh)

After breakfast, drive back to Haridwar. On arrival, check into your hotel and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 11: rishikesh➝ Gwalior

After breakfast, check out and proceed back to Gwalior, concluding your Char Dham Yatra with divine blessings and cherished memories.

50% advance at the time of booking

50% balance 30 Days prior of check in date

Cancellation Policies: -

1. If the cancellation is made 30 days or more before the check in date 85% Refund. ( Bank transaction and Convenience fee will be applicable )
2. If cancellation is made within 15-29 days of check in then 75% of total booking.
3. In cancellation is made under 15 days of check inn. No refund
   
4. Group booking cancellation will be checked at the time of booking confirmation.

Lift/Elevator Note:

Guests are kindly requested to inform any specific requirements, such as lift/elevator facilities, at the time of quotation and confirmation, as some hotels especially in hill or remote areas may have limited facilities due to location constraints.

Important Notes for Chardham yatra - 

1.Registration is Mandatory For Chardham Yatra to be done by guest govt. Guidelines

3.     Rates are Valid for 03 Days from the Date of Quotation. Kindly reconfirm the rates before confirmation with Client.

4.     There is no Star Category in Chardham Sector Do not Expect Luxuy in dham Sector

5.     Kindly check respective hotel website for photo and amenities

6.     Chardham Hotel serves only vegetarian food with limited selected menu. Alcohol is not allowed due to religious destination.

7.     A lot of construction is going on in Chardham Sector so kindly cooperate in case any delay in travel time.

8.     Vehicle will work from 07 AM to 07 PM Only.So kindly follow drivers instructions for smooth travelling.

9.  In Kedarnath very basic dharamshala type sharing bed accomodation is provided. Accomodation triple / Quad / Six Share.

10.  There is no availability of Geysers and Heaters in Kedarnath Dharamshala

11.  In Kedarnath Hotel water is provided in Bucket on request and is chargable at Rs 100 to 150 per bucket payable directly

12.  In Kerarnath hotel you have to bring your own towel as hotel dont provide house keeping services.

13.  Keadrnath Hotel once booked and confirmed is strictly non refundable as they Non Refundable Policy.

14.  Rooms and rates are Subject to Change at the time of final confirmation.

 Vehicle is as per itinerary and not on disposal. Additional sightseeing or transfer which are not mentioned in itinerary is payable to the driver directly.

 Vehicle will not be available after 20:00 hrs in case extra charges are not paid for disposable usage or not mentioned in itinerary. - Meals Timings must be followed as per the instructed time of the hotels. For any un-availed meals, we shall not be responsible.

 We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.

 In Chardham, The facilities of Hotel, -Services, and Aids etc cannot be matched to developed destinations. Hotels in Chardham are categorized on the basis of location,

 Services and costing and not as per Star Categorization i.e.;1*, 2*, 3* and so on.

We may have to re-schedule the sightseeing days due to the closing of any monument during that particular day as to ensure smooth execution of tours.

• Extra cost would be applicable for any unforeseen event.
• No discount will be provided after confirmation.
• No refund for short stay or unveiled facilities.
•  Refund of against cancellation of hotel as per hotel rules.

No cancellation or any refund will be made if situation is beyond our control, such as acts of God, bad weather, landslide, climatic conditions or any other natural disaster, fire, any embargo, acts or decisions of government, political or national crisis, acts of terrorism or other similar causes, strikes or problems at airlines, rails, buses, hotels or transporters, labor unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations or due to wh not reach the destination and which is beyond our control. It will be entirely at the risk and cost of the customer. How ever we will try our best to help you.

As per State Government guidelines, all persons intending to visit Uttarakhand shall have themselves registered for E-pass on http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in/ . For applying epass guests should have COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate (double doses) not less than 15 days old or a negative RT-PCR test report or RAT negative report or TRUENAT test not older than 72 hrs. Children below 10 yrs if accompanied by parents/guardians with a vaccination certificate (double dose) or RTPCR / RAT / TRUENET negative reports are exempted. All legal disputes are subject to the jurisdiction only in the courts of Ramnagar.
