Day 1: Gwalior to Chandigarh (Train Journey)
Students will assemble at Gwalior Railway Station at 01:00 AM for smooth coordination and boarding procedures. The group will board the train at 01:57 AM in a comfortable 3rd AC coach for their journey to Chandigarh. As the departure is post-midnight, dinner will not be included and students are advised to have dinner prior to arrival. Teachers and tour coordinators will conduct attendance, manage seating arrangements, and brief the students before departure. Overnight journey will be in the train.
Day 2: Arrival in Chandigarh | Rest & Evening Sightseeing
Breakfast will be served in the train. Upon arrival in Chandigarh, students will be transferred via a private traveller bus / AC coach to the hotel for check-in. After freshening up and relaxation, lunch will be served at the hotel. In the evening, the sightseeing will begin with a visit to Sukhna Lake, followed by Rock Garden of Chandigarh. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in Chandigarh.
Day 3: Chandigarh Sightseeing & Transfer to Amritsar
After breakfast, students will proceed for local sightseeing in Chandigarh, visiting Zakir Hussain Rose Garden, followed by Sector 17 Market to understand urban planning and city structure. After lunch, the group will depart by road in a private vehicle for Amritsar (approx. 4–5 hours). Upon arrival, students will check into the hotel, relax, and have dinner. Overnight stay will be in Amritsar.
Day 4: Amritsar Sightseeing & Attari Border Excursion
After breakfast, students will proceed to visit the sacred Golden Temple to understand Sikh culture and community service. After the visit, the group will continue to Gobindgarh Fort, where students can explore Punjab’s history, culture, and heritage through various exhibits and activities. After the visit, lunch will be arranged. In the afternoon, the group will proceed for an excursion to Attari Border to witness the famous retreat ceremony, which instills a strong sense of patriotism among students. After the ceremony, the group will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Amritsar.
Day 5: Amritsar Sightseeing, Market Visit & Departure
After breakfast, students will proceed for local sightseeing covering Partition Museum, Durgiana Temple, and Jallianwala Bagh. Lunch will be arranged during the day. By evening, students will explore the local markets of Amritsar for practical exposure and leisure time. Later in the night, the group will proceed to the railway station to board the train at 23:56 PM in 3rd AC coach for their return journey to Gwalior. Overnight journey in train.
Day 6: Arrival in Gwalior
The group will arrive at Gwalior Railway Station, where final headcount and coordination will be conducted before the safe dispersal of students, marking the successful conclusion of the educational tour.
