Day to Day Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Jaisalmer Airport- Sam Sand Dunes
On Arrival at Jaisalmer Airport, Pick up by private vehicle and proceed to Sand dunes which is approx. 40km away, the Desert This is the closest place from where you can loose yourself in 'the Great Thar Desert'. Sam has a truly magnificent stretch of sweeping dunes, with sparse or no vegetation. The best way to get here, of course, is on camelback. Enjoy the Camel Ride/ Jeep Safari in Sam sand Dunes.( on direct payment basis) enjoy the folk dance and other activities in your camp and overnight stay after the Dinner.
Day 2: Sand Dunes-Jaisalmer
have breakfast and check out from Camp and Transfer to Resort in Jaisalmer. It is a city which marvels beautiful culture and it is one of the most exotic place. The narrow streets of the old town conceal magnificent havelis, all carved from the golden-honey sandstone ? hence Jaisalmer is also known as the Golden City. After relax visit some attaraction like Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temples, Patwaon-Ki-Haveli etc. Overnight Stay in Hotel after the Dinner.
Day 3: Around Jaisalmer// or simply Relax at your Resort
Have breakfast in hotel and visit Tanot Mata Temple Tanot was attacked again during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971, but this time the attacking tanks got bogged down in the sand, allowing the Indian Air Force to destroy them.[4][5] After the 1971 war, the Indian Army built a Vijay Stambha (Victory tower) inside the temple compound to commemorate the victory in the Battle , Longevala Border, It is a war memorial which has at display the Pakistani tanks and guns that were captured during the 1971 Indo-Pak war. There are a lot of inspirational quotes written everywhere. We also saw a short documentary on the war as it happened and how bravely our soldiers fought an army 30x bigger than them. We felt so patriotic at that place. Longewala is indeed a place to visit and to feel the sacrifices our soldiers make to keep us safe. back to hotel in evening and Overnight Stay in Hotel after the Dinner.
Day 4: Departure
Have breakfast in hotel and check out as per policy. Transfer to Airport for fly back to home.
