Daywise Itinerary -
Day 1 : Arrival in Srinagar and transfer to Gulmarg
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and begin your drive to Gulmarg (approximately 1.5 to 2 hours). As you leave Srinagar, you will pass through Pampore, which is famous for saffron fields (best seen in October–November). You can stop briefly at local shops selling saffron and dry fruits. Further ahead, you reach Tangmarg, a small town where the terrain begins to change. From here, the road starts ascending with sharp turns and dense pine forests. This stretch is especially beautiful, with tall deodar trees and mountain views. During winter, this road is often covered in snow, and in some cases, vehicles may require snow chains. You may want to stop at viewpoints along the way for photos, tea, or snacks. Small roadside stalls serve Kashmiri kahwa (traditional saffron tea), which is worth trying. On reaching Gulmarg, check in to your hotel and rest for a while. Gulmarg is known for its vast green meadows in summer and thick snow in winter, surrounded by the Pir Panjal mountain range. In the afternoon, explore the main meadow area. You can walk around freely, enjoy the fresh air, and take in views of the mountains. Visit St. Mary’s Church, a small picturesque church set among pine trees, and the Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest golf courses in the world. You can also opt for a short pony ride to nearby points like Strawberry Valley or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful environment. Evening is usually quiet and calm in Gulmarg. Temperatures drop quickly, so warm clothing is important even in summer. Spend the evening at your hotel, enjoy dinner, and rest. Dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 2 : Gulmarg sightseeing
After breakfast, head for the famous Gulmarg Gondola ride, one of the highest cable cars in the world. Sightseeing in Gulmarg mainly revolves around its natural beauty and a few key attractions, with the highlight being the Gulmarg Gondola, one of the highest cable cars in the world, where Phase 1 takes you to Kongdoori for activities like sledging, beginner skiing, and scenic walks, while Phase 2 goes up to Apharwat Peak at around 4,200 meters, offering snow almost year-round and breathtaking Himalayan views; apart from the gondola, you can explore the vast Gulmarg meadow, which is lush green in summer and snow-covered in winter, ideal for walking, photography, and pony rides, visit the charming St. Mary’s Church surrounded by pine trees, and the Maharani Temple located on a small hill providing panoramic views of the area, while the Gulmarg Golf Course, one of the highest in the world, is a major attraction in summer and blends into snowy landscapes in winter; nearby spots like Strawberry Valley and Khilanmarg offer quieter, scenic experiences with flowers and mountain views and can be reached by pony or short trek, and on the way to Gulmarg, you can also stop at Drung Waterfall near Tangmarg, which is especially beautiful when partially frozen in winter, making Gulmarg a destination where sightseeing is less about crowded spots and more about enjoying landscapes, snow activities in winter, and peaceful nature throughout the year. Evening free for relaxation. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 3 : Gulmarg to Srinagar
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Srinagar. The journey from Gulmarg to Srinagar is around 50 km and takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, offering a scenic downhill drive through forests and local towns, starting with a descent from Gulmarg’s meadows through dense pine and deodar forests toward Tangmarg, where the road has several curves and viewpoints ideal for short photo stops; Tangmarg is a good place to take a break for tea or try local Kashmiri kahwa, and from here the landscape gradually opens up as you continue towards the plains, passing through small villages and roadside stalls selling fresh produce, dry fruits, and local snacks, after which you reach Pampore, a region famous for its saffron fields that bloom in October–November and where you can stop to buy authentic saffron and handicrafts, before finally entering Srinagar, where the scenery shifts to a more urban setting with views of the surrounding mountains and glimpses of water bodies like Dal Lake, making the drive not just a transfer but a relaxed and visually rich experience that blends mountain landscapes, local culture, and valley life. Dinner and overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 4 :  SRINAGAR LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast, you can choose one of the following options: Nishat Bagh (Garden of Pleasure) – The largest Mughal garden situated on the banks of world famous Dal-Lake in the backdrop of Zabarwan hills encircles the Dal Lake.
